This Residency is a collaboration between EngAge "The Art of Active Aging" and Bali & Beyond.

Everyone is invited to Bali & Beyond's 'informance' (a performance which informs!) Residency participants, their friends, family and all are highly encouraged to attend this presentation to learn about Balinese Wayang Kulit Shadow Play and see the inspiration behind the residency.

* Please Note: NO classes will be held on Sat. March 30th in honor of Passover and Easter.
* Also note a double session will take place on Sat. April 6th from 12 to 4:30 PM

Join us for a reception, exhibition and
performance accompanied by live music when the residency ends.
Performance will begin at approximately 2:30 PM.

Enjoy a variety of arts experiences which combine to create the
magical art of Shadow Play!

 

 

 

 

The class begins writing a group story from day one. This story will be performed for culmination of the residency in April.

 

 

 

 

Those who like to draw can design characters needed for the group story.

Work on screen
Develop a character
Write and act out dialogue


 

 

 

 

 

Choreograph special effects and action sequences

 

 

 

Rehearse as an ensemble with live music

 

 

 

Present the story in culmination of the residency
